People Who Are Addicted To Music
With the release of their debut album “Waiting for the Dawn” set for next week (June 18), today The Mowgli’s premiere a cut from the effort “Say It, Just Say It” exclusively on Billboard.
The song boasts a huge hook, where lead singer Colin Louis Dieden promises to stay on his love interest’s side. It’s important to the singer and comes from a personal experience.
“‘Say It, Just Say It’ is a very special song for me for a couple reasons,” he explains to Billboard. “First of which is I got to write it with my best friend in the world, Jens Koerkemeier. It’s a true story about a woman that was/is involved in my life and she will most likely know who she is when she hears it. But who knows, I don’t care. We had so much fun with this song, and I’m excited the world is hearing it.”
Two nights after album release day (June 20) The Mowgli’s will perform on NBC’s “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.” It will be their second appearance.
