People Who Are Addicted To Music
Vishal Dadlani sings in Bengali for the first time for the film Hawa Bodol, he had to squeeze time to record the track Ghore ferar gaan at the last minute, as there was a miscommunication about date.
Vishal was about to leave abroad for an event on the appointed hour as Hawa Bodol director Parambrata Chatterjee and music director Indradeep Dasgupta reached Mumbai as he was under the impression that the recording was to take place the previous day. Parambrata, Kahaani’s Inspector Rana, had to seek help from his first Hindi film director Sujoy Ghosh who facilitated the things for them and Vishal called them at his studio. Ghore ferar gaan is famous song by the band Mohiner Ghoraguli.
Actor Rudranil Ghosh dubbed Hawa Bodol as a story of friendship with which both modern day boys and girls could relate as it “talks about their lives in their own dialect and recreates scenes and situations which seem familiar to the urban youth.” Hawa Bodol, Parambrata’s second directorial venture after Jiyo Kaka(2011), will be released on March 22. Parambrata has bought rights of a Nabarun Bhattacharya novel for his next film.
