Track Exclusive – Childhood, ‘Semester’

Childhood 2

Semester’, the flipside to Childhood’s new single ‘Solemn Skies’ (it’s a double A technically), shows a different, more urgent side to the London fourpiece.

Heavier than their previous output but still swamped in the phased effects they seem to thrive upon, it’s two and a half minutes of riffs hummed and cooed by Ben Romans Hopcraft – a guy who’s fast becoming one of the city’s coolest frontmen.
